Yuliana Iniguez

Art Therapy Intern

Yuliana Iniguez is an Art Therapy Intern. She is completing her second year in the Master of Science in Art Therapy Program at Mount Mary University. Yuliana completed her undergraduate degree majoring in Art Therapy and a minor in Studio Art at Mount Mary University.

Yuliana enjoys utilizing a holistic healing and arts-based approach in her work with clients. She works with clients of all ages, and especially adolescents and young adults. Yuliana enjoys working within the community and spent time in the pandemic volunteering to bring resources to the community through Ayuda Mutua MKE. Yuliana integrates art, healing, and creativity into the community by helping facilitate groups with Amber Thomas, Brush Box founder. Brush Box is a Black women-owned business here in Milwaukee.

Yuliana is passionate about researching decolonized practices of healing to integrate into the community. She is an advocate for providing a safe place to heal for all BIPOC and LGBTQIA members, and is dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA community by providing a culturally and trauma informed perspective.
