Haley Fuhr, CYT-200 is an art therapy intern and yoga and mindfulness instructor. Haley is currently completing her second year in the Master of Science in Art Therapy Program at Mount Mary University.
Haley completed her undergraduate degree majoring in Neurobiology and Psychology at UW-Madison, and uses the knowledge she gained to inform her art therapy approach. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy, and that creativity and play are important components of developing a therapeutic relationship. Haley works with clients of all ages and especially enjoys working with teens, and young adults, and children as young as 5.
Prior to starting graduate school, Haley worked as a Psychiatric Care Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant at Mendota Mental Health Institute with patients ranging from age 13-90, and as a Case Manager for Dane County Human Services working with clients 18 and older. Over the past year, she worked as a Youth Yoga and Mindfulness Provider with the Ascent Wellness Program with clients ages 12-23. Currently, she is a yoga instructor for group classes at a variety of studios around Milwaukee.
