Mary Rodgers MSCP, LPC, CSAC will serve as CLARA Healing Institute’s Education and Supervision Consultant. She will provide supervision and consultation for CLARA staff and community members, and will facilitate a number of programs for clinicians and community members.
Mary is a licensed professional counselor, clinical substance abuse counselor, and counselor educator. Mary earned her Master of Science in Community Psychology from Alverno College and is currently completing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University. Mary has served in the mental health field and within non-profit social service-based organizations for over 12 years. She is also a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves.
Mary specializes in serious and persistent mental illness, career counseling, social justice advocacy, trauma, and counseling for counselors. Mary’s approach to wellness is primarily rooted in multiculturalism, existentialism, and complementary and alternative medicine. Mary also specializes in counselor education and supervision where she also uses a holistic and transformative approach to learning and development.
